It Feels Like Spring May Finally Be Here

The grass is finally getting some green growth to it, strawberry plants are showing signs of coming back after this year`s long winter`s nap.  Many seeds are being started indoors right now.    Onions, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, brussel sprouts, leeks, and celery. Once the rain quits and things dry up a bit we hope to get planting on some lettuce, spinach, radishes, carrots and some other cool weather crops. The weatherman says April is going to be cooler than normal as well.

My husband has started working on fences for the horses to be able to get back out on pasture now that grass is coming on, they lost most all of their pasture from the tornado just before winter.
Farmers Market starts for us May 7th, hard to believe that time is right around the corner, but how exciting. We are ready to be back outside!
