August 2023 - It's been a long time!
It has been a long time since I've taken the time to post on here, we've finally had rain in west central Indiana, the soaker hoses have been put away. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, chard, eggplant, basil, and carrots are doing great, I see some spaghetti sauce and salsa canning in our near future. It seems there are never enough hours in the day to keep up with the garden and all the craft orders coming in. I have to look past the weeds in the garden this time of year and focus on preserving and planting a few things for fall. We had a great sweet corn harvest this year, after watering (what seems like a lot) to keep the plants going at the start of the season, the rains finally came just at the right time. The big news is this month is that webs.com (where I've had my website for many years) is shutting down at the end of this month. I've slowly been moving stuff over to a new website and it was "published today". I will be adding more later and possibly opening up the sales piece of it as well as time permits.
Please update any bookmarks you have, check out the new site: https://doublebar-g.mailchimpsites.com, sign up through Mailchimp to receive email updates and let me know what you think. We will be at just a few crafts sales this fall, I will keep everyone posted. Please feel free to call, text, email, Facebook Messenger, reach out with any questions you may have or order requests. I hope to get back on this Blogspot regularly again (I need to add this to my calendar to keep on track it seems). Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead, happy harvesting and preserving, and for those that are crafters.....have a wonderful time starting into my favorite crafting seasons of the year, autumn and the holidays!
